Update your frames with the help of your magazine subscriptions!
It's one of the simplest, fastest and cheapest ways I know to give new life to your artwork. Take a peek at a home magazine that you may have lying around the house and you'll be surprised at how many beautiful designs and images are sprinkled throughout the pages.
A quick 20-second flip through of one of my Magnolia magazines turned up these gems:
Grab a frame you may already have, pick one up at a garage sale or Goodwill (in my case, IKEA), and get to snipping! Other places to grab some cheap, frame-able artwork:
- Record sleeves
- Books, if you can stomach tearing the pages out (I cannot!)
- Scrapbooking paper
- Etsy - you can purchase digital art prints and use your desktop printer
- YOUR CHILDREN because little artists are the best
